June 2003: Aeronavali (ARP), Italy donates "B" check on Orbis (ORS) flying eye hospital DC-10-10, and Fedex (FED) donated parts.

August 2003: Is converting 2 MD-11's to cargo for EVA Air (EVA), with 1st completed and 2nd for delivery in 4Q 2003. (EVA) is evaluating converting its remaining MD-11, (GEF) leased.

October 2003: Boeing Commercial Aviation Services agreement for Aeronavali (ARP) to be the sole company licensed by Boeing to convert 767-200 PAX airplanes to freighters using the Boeing Amended Type Certificate. (ARP) will carry out the work at their Naples or Venice facilities. The modification includes the installation of a 103 x 134 inch main deck side cargo door, plus a new main deck entrance area that allows the installation of a 20th 88-inch x 125-inch pallet or a 13th 96 x 125-inch pallet. The converted 767-200SF's will be capable of carrying approx 93,400 lbs (42,400 kg) of revenue payload and have a range of approx 3,200 nm (5,150 km). There are currently 228 767-200's in service and Boeing estimates 50% will be converted to freighter in the next 20 years.

November 2004: Alenia plans to build 65,000 sq m facility at Grottaglie, near Taranto, Italy, to build a (CFRP) center fuselage section and aft one section for the 787 in partnership with Vought, who are responsible for two aft fuselage sections; it plans to centralize 787 Engineering at existing Pomigliano d-Arco facility near Naples and build horizontal stabilizers at Foggia.

March 2007: Singapore Technologies Aerospace and Boeing (TBC) announced that ST Aero's ST Aviation Services Co (SASCO) was selected to perform "certain passenger-to-freighter conversions" under the 767-300 Boeing (TBC) Converted Freighter program, with (ANA) as its first customer. (ANA) launched the 767-300BCF program in 2005. (SASCO) will perform conversions on five firm airplanes with two options. The initial (ANA) commitment was for three firm and four options. (SASCO) is the second conversion center chosen by Boeing (TBC) for the 767-300, after Aeronavali (ARP) of Italy. Boeing Commercial Airplanes (TBC) VP Freighter Conversions, Marco Cavazzoni explained that Aeronavali (ARP) is "very busy" on the 767-200 conversion program. The first airplane arrives in Singapore in October, with redelivery expected in June 2008. ST Aero President, Tay Kok Khiang said the company expects successive conversions to take around 120 days. ST Aero valued the agreement with Boeing (TBC) at S$208 million/$136 million over 10 years. The 767-300BCF will have "about the same cargo capability" as a production model 767-300F: Approximately 50 tonnes structural payload at a range of about 3,000 nm and 412,000 lbs Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW).

June 2007: Parent Alenia Aeronautica and Xian Aircraft Co signed an agreement to produce a section of the ATR rear fuselage in China. Up to 20% of the structure of the airplane will be manufactured in China.
