April 2010: (ACE) - Aryan Cargo Express (ARY) is a subsidiary of the New Delhi based Aryan Cargo Express & Logistics Ltd.
(ARY) is currently operating on charter cargo flights. It plans to be a non-integrated carrier of goods providing airport-to-airport freight transportation, serving destinations in Africa, Asia, and Europe. Initially, (ARY) will be setting up three hubs in Bangkok, Delhi, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
(ARY) is in the process of obtaining slots for eight airport destinations initially, including, Italy, Japan, Thailand and the (UAE).
(ARY) expects to obtain clearances this month to launch scheduled international cargo services to China and Hong Kong.
In its first year of operation, (ARY) plans to deploy a fleet of five leased airplanes. (ARY) has contracted to lease three A310-304F freighter airplanes from Air India (AIN) which can carry a load of up to 36.5 tonnes. Also two MD-11Fs are to be leased from Boeing Capital (TBC), which can carry a load of up to 90 tonnes.
Initially, operations will be to China, South East Asia, and West Asia. In the second phase, connectivity will be extended to the Far East, North Africa, and Australia/New Zealand.
July 2010: Aryan Cargo Express (ARY) was founded as a freight forwarder. The air carrier was established with launch capital of $60 million.
Parent organization/shareholders: Mukul Pathak, Rishi Raj Singh Dungarpur, Kellett and Singleton Investments (20%).
Operates domestic cargo services linking New Delhi with Chennai, Kochi, Kolkata, and Mumbai, together with international services to China, Dubai, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.

Despite the global slowdown and setbacks, his sheer belief in the immense potential and importance of cargo movement in India and globally, has finally culminated in the successful launch of (ARY). His determination and in-depth study of the world commerce vis-à-vis India, is reflected in (ARY)’s business model as a formidable entrant to take advantage of the significant opportunities of Air Cargo business.
Captain Mukut Pathak, is a Science Graduate and an alumnus of India's premier defence institute, National Defence Academy, Khadakvasla, Pune. He is a trained pilot (FC) with 26 years of flying experience. He is an Ex-Indian Navy fighter pilot (FC) and is a qualified Captain on all series of 737 and A320 family of airplanes. He is a winner of “Top Gun” medal for Air to Ground weapon delivery at (AFA) Dundigal, Hyderabad and has won many Gunnery competitions as a fighter pilot (FC) during his tenure in the Indian Navy. He has been part of the policy formation and decision making body of Royal Airways (Now Spicejet (ROJ)), Air Sahara (now Jetlite (SAQ)) and was part of the start-up team which launched Kingfisher Airlines (KFH). These exposures and experiences have given him greater insight in all the aspects of the airline business and activities, ensuring the setting up of corporate and operational processes.
RISHI RAJ SINGH DUNGARPUR, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR.
Mr Rishi Raj Singh Dungarpur (38) has an MBA in “Public Relations (PR) and International Marketing” from Maastricht University, The Netherlands, wherein he acquired entrepreneurial skills. On his return, he worked for Reliance Industries and Mudra Communications to further hone his business acumen and knowledge.
He is from the Royal family of Dungarpur. He is the President of the Youth wing of All India Kshatriya Mahasabha and Ex-General Secretary of the Delhi National Student Union of India (NSUI). He is an excellent sportsman and has represented the Delhi State Cricket Team. He is also a life Member of the (DDCA).
Mr Rishi Raj is also associated with and is the owner of many profitable businesses in Oil, Gas and Agro, in India. He was the co-promoter and distributor of an international beer brand in India. As a successful entrepreneur, he has been a strong votary of quality services and products. His experience as a passionate entrepreneur has not only enriched his understanding of global business but has also given him the business perspective on the criticality of the cargo movement. Rishi’s experience and successes in his entrepreneurial ventures will provide (ARY) with the setting up of standards and benchmarks of successful business.
COLONEL VISHNU SINGH RAWAL, DIRECTOR, EX-(DCC).
Colonel Vishnu Singh Rawal, 58, is a decorated officer of the Indian Army. He is an alumnus of National Defence Academy, Khadakvasla, Pune. He served the Indian Army for 21 years with distinction and was awarded the (VSM) for his flying capabilities. He has been an outstanding helicopter pilot (FC) both in the Army and Civil Aviation. He was the main brain and sweat behind the launch of Deccan Aviation and Air Deccan (DCC). Under his stewardship, Deccan Aviation Charters & Technical Services grew by almost +30% every year. And, thus, he is well versed in the dynamics of a new entrepreneurial airline. Colonel Vishnu has over >20,000 hours of flying experience and holds an (ATPL) from 5 different countries of the world. He has flown for over >9 years abroad in many countries across the globe. He is very well known in aviation circles as the “Bhism Pitamah” of helicopter operations. He is a (DGCA) approved Examiner on many types of helicopters.

Mrs Anita Pathak, is a Post Graduate in Science. She is a multi-faceted woman and is actively involved in running the entrepreneurial family venture of hospitality single handedly, with efficiency and profitability. She has been a strong advocate of “Care & Engagement” in work culture.
CAPTAIN RANA N SINGH, DIRECTOR FLIGHT OPERATIONS & TRAINING, EX-(IND)/(DCC)/(KFH).
Captain Rana N Singh has spent a major part of his life in aviation. He is an Engineering graduate and A. M.I. (Ae) E (Aviation Electronics). He has also completed an Executive Diploma in Development of Crew Resource Management (CRM) from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA and has undergone the (ICAO) Flight Operations Inspector’s Course. A thorough professional with over >40 years in aviation, having flown over >24,000 hours. He has been a (DGCA) approved Senior Flight Instructor (SFI), Training Captain and Examiner on 737s & A319/A320/A321s’ with Indian Airlines (IND), Air Deccan (DCC) and Kingfisher Airlines (KFH). He has been closely associated with Training and Operational Standards in all these three airlines. DD Mathur is an aircraft engineer and Industry veteran, holding a degree in aeronautical engineering. He has extensive experience of more than >18 years in the field of aircraft maintenance and is an (A&C) licenced engineer. After achieving a pinnacle of success in various airline ventures including Jet Airways (JPL) and Kingfisher Airlines (KHF), where he held several senior level positions, - - the last one being General Maanager Engineering at Air Sahara (SAQ), his move to Honeywell Aerospace (SGC) as Field Service Manager- India & Middle East was hailed as a bold move from airline customer to the vendor side that allowed him to envision aviation industry from an entirely different perspective. Colonel J C Verma (Retired) is an alumnus of India's premier defence institute, the National Defence Academy, Khadakvasla, Pune. He has an MBA from Pune University. He has over >40 years of experience with 20 years in aviation. Colonel J C Verma was formerly the Head of anti-hijack, anti-sabotage & bomb-disposal in the elite (NSG). He was responsible for imparting training to all police personnel in India on Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) used by terrorists. He has been head of Security of Air Sahara (SAQ) and Kingfisher Airlines (KFH). He introduced explosive vapor detectors in India during his tenure with Air Sahara (SAQ). CAPTAIN K RAVINDRAN, HEAD FLIGHT SAFETY, EX-(AIN)/(KFH).
Captain K Ravindran is a graduate of the Airforce Flying College, Jodhpur. He Was commissioned into the Indian Airforce in 1966 and was part of the VIP Squadron conveying various dignitaries and Heads of State across the country. In 1979, he was assigned to Air India (AIN). In Air India (AIN), Captain Ravindran flew several types of jet airplanes including the 707, 747 and A300, and A310s. He was a (DGCA) approved examiner on the A310. In 1991, he was selected by the Civil Aviation Ministry to join the (DGCA) as an Inspector of Flying (Flight Operations Inspector). He has been trained by an (ICAO) Safety Inspector in safety oversight standards and safety audits. He retired from the (DGCA) and Air India (AIN) in 2003. His aviation career spanned 46 years and over 11,600 hours of safe and accident-free flying. In 2005, Captain Ravindran joined Kingfisher Airlines (KFH) as Head of the Flight Safety; his active participation and guidance helped (KFH) through the (IATA) Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) and certification.
