December 2013: Azman Air Services (AZZ) has acquired 2 former )BMI) Baby (BMI) 737-36Ns (28557, 5N-YSA "Hajiya Aisha Sarina; 28570, 5N-HAI "Alhaji Yunusa Sarina), which were ferried from Bournemouth to Kano. (AZZ), the Kano-based airline intends to serve Abuja, Lagos, Gombe, Maiduguri, Port Harcourt, Sokoto, and Yola.
August 2015: Azman Air ((IATA) Code: AZM, based at Kano) (AZZ) will shortly take delivery of its 1st 737-5L9, "Skyliner Aviation" has reported. Formerly (29235, UR-VVQ) with Ukraine's Aerosvit Airlines (UKA), the 737-500 will join (AZZ)'s other airplanes (a pair of ex-bmibaby (BMI) 737-300s) in service on flights between Abuja, Lagos, Kano, Maiduguri, and Yola, locally.
Earlier this year, President Dr Abdulmunaf Yinus said his airline would acquire 3 additional airplanes ahead of its planned expansion into the regional West African market.
September 2016: Azman Air ((ICAO) Code: AZM, based at Kano) (AZZ) inaugurated a 4x-weekly return service from Abuja to the NW Nigerian town of Birnin Kebbi, near the border with Niger, on September 8.
