Blue Line (BLE) is seeking clearance to serve the USA and is about to add two more MD-83s to its four airplane fleet. (BLE) VP Sales, Pierre-Emmanuel Allard said "Our business is concentrated on corporate charters. The main purpose of the USA filing is that a lot of our customers have requested trips out of Europe into the USA on a private charter basis, meaning that we are keen to operate several flights per month. We are getting our Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) extended to include North American and South American continents." Has already obtained USA Department of Transportation (DOT) clearance but is still waiting on the go-ahead fron the USA Customs and the Transportation Security Administration. Expects permission to be granted by mid-June. Also is in the process of being filed as a European United Nations (UN) provider.

Is leasing a third MD-83, with another arriving in May. Two MD-83s configuration will be changed to a 60-seat premium configuration.

May 2008: MD-83 (49398, F-GMLU), (GEF) leased, ex-(N398MD).

September 2009: Takes delivery of a VIP configured A310-300 to cater for the demand for large group and heads of state transport. The popularity of the airplane, coupled with a paucity of suitable products on the market, has prompted Blue Line (BLE) to evaluate the purchase of a second A310VIP at a later date.

With its two additional fuel tanks, the A310VIP can fly non-stop for 13 hours in its 78 first class (F) seat configuration. It can also accommodate 300 pieces of luggage in its cargo hold. Pierre-Emmanuel Allard, International Development Manager stated there are few airplanes like its A310VIP available for charter. "We are getting a lot of interest in the airplane from governments who are looking for VIP transport for their heads of state." Our immediate aim is to develop a new VVIP interior which could be installed in around 6 to 8 hours to accommodate this demand."

January 2010: Paints its MD-83 (49398, F-GMLU) for the FIFA World Cup of Soccer Trophy tour.

August 2010: Blue Line (4Y/Paris CDG) has added a second ex-CSA Czech Airlines (OK/Prague) A310-300.
