July 2009: (AJW) Aviation expanded its power-by-the-hour contract with Seagle Air (CGL) to include an additional three 737-300s.
October 2009: Seagle Air (CGL) of Bratislava suspended operations after failing to receive funds from partner SkyOne Italy Airlines, (CGL) (CEO), Peter Hanak said. (CGL)'s charter and cargo operations could restart if financing is secured. It operated three 737-300s and two A320s. The (CTK) Czech news agency reported that Bratislava's Milan Rastislav Stefanik Airport (BTS) lost 34% of its traffic when SkyEurope Airlines (SKP) folded last month and could lose an additional -25% with the loss of Seagle (CGL). Ryanair (RYR) now is (BTS)'s largest carrier.
All 737 and A320 airplanes have been returned to their lessors.
June 2013: Estelar Latinoamerica (ESV) has added a first ex-Seagle Air ((IATA) Code: SJ, based at Bratislava) 737-300, (23773, N773KR) (CGL), as a first step towards replacing its four 737-200s.
