November 2006: Worldwide sales of Airbus Corporate Jetliners reached a record level again this year, with 20 of the airplanes sold so far in 2006.
Pacing this business volume is the A318 Elite (the shortest-fuselage member of the Airbus Corporate Jetliner Family, which has logged 22 orders and commitments since the program's launch announcement last November)
The no 1 A318 Elite made its maiden flight earlier this month, and will be ready for cabin outfitting this winter. It is to be delivered to A318 Elite launch customer Comlux (CLA) in Zurich, Switzerland in spring 2007.
Airbus (EDS) will certify the A318 for an operating ceiling 41,000 ft, and the airplane will be qualified for steep approach operations at airports such as London City.
February 2007: A319-115CJ (2592, HB-IPO), delivery, then wet-leased to the Government of Kazakhstan (KZA) as (UN-A190).
December 2008: Comlux (CLA), the (VIP) charter operator has added a Maltese airplane operators certificate (AOC) to its Kazakh and Swiss (AOC)s enabling it to fly freely between European Union (EU) member states. (CEO), Richard Gaona chose Malta as an operating base for its maintenance, legal, and services expertise and strategic position in between Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

November 2009: At the Dubai Air Show, Comlux (CLA) announces an order for one A319CJ Corporate Jetliner.
December 2010: 2 top-of-the-line Airbus (EDS) corporate jets will be exhibited at the Middle East and Business Aviation (MEBA) show in Dubai in December, highlighting their success in the region. They comprise an A318 Elite operated by Al Jaber Aviation (JBA) of Abu Dhabi and an Airbus (EDS) Corporate Jet (ACJ) based in Bahrain and operated by Comlux (CLA).
October 2011: SuperJet International (the joint venture (JV) between Alenia Aeronautica, a Finmeccanica Company, and Sukhoi Holding (SSJ)) has announced a purchase agreement for two Sukhoi Business Jet (SBJ) airplanes plus two additional options, with Comlux (CLA) The Aviation Group.
With this order Comlux (CLA) becomes the launch customer of SuperJet International for this new type of (VIP) airplane. (CLA) represents one of the most innovative business aviation group worldwide, able to always offer to its (VIP) passengers new products for their travel needs.
The deliveries of the 2 (SBJ) airplanes are planned for 2014. The order has an estimated value of US $200 million, including options.
Before the entry into service, the (VIP) cabin interior of the airplane will be designed and outfitted by Comlux America, the completion center of the Comlux Group, based in Indianapolis USA. Comlux America is appointed as the 1st approved Sukhoi Business Jet completion Center.
The Sukhoi Business Jet is the (VIP) aircraft version of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 regional airliner. It offers a spacious and ultra quiet cabin of 118 m3/4192 ft3, and a range of approximately 4300 nm/8000 km, thanks to its additional fuel tanks. The launch of the (VIP) airplane version comes just four months after the successful entry-into-service (EIS) of the SSJ100 in April 2011.

October 2012: The Airbus (EDS) ACJ319 corporate jet entered service with Comlux (CLA) earlier this year being operated on VVIP charters. It is now being shown at the (NBAA) show in Orlando, Florida, USA.
The ACJ319 includes club seating, a conference/dining table, a lounge, two offices that convert to bedrooms, and two bathrooms – one with an ensuite shower. For night flights, most of the seats convert to beds. Indianapolis-based, Comlux America outfitted the airplane, which seats 19 passengers.

August 2013: (GE) Aviation (GEC) has named Comlux (CLA) as an authorized service center for (CF34-3)s on Bombardier (BMB) Challengers. Comlux (CLA) can now perform line maintenance inspections and routine installed engine maintenance, including removal and replacement of engines and engine components. (CLA) can also do OnPoint and (GE) warranty support.
December 2014: Boeing Business Jets (BJC) announced an order for two BBJ MAX 8s to Comlux (CLA), a Swiss-based (VIP) charter operator. This marks Comlux (CLA)’s first BBJ order - - See attached - - "CLA-2014-12 - BOEING BBJ MAX8."
“The two BBJ MAX 8s are a great addition to the Comlux (CLA) fleet because they give our customers the flexibility to fly farther and more comfortably thanks to the lower cabin altitude,” said Richard Gaona, President & (CEO), Comlux (CLA), The Aviation Group. “The long-range capability of the BBJ MAX 8 is critical to all of our customers, but especially our Middle East customers who often use (CLA) airplanes for long-haul flights.”
The two BBJ MAX 8s will be outfitted with custom interiors at Comlux America, a certified BBJ completion center.

February 2016: Comlux (CLA) announced a firm order for 3 Airbus ACJ320neo, becoming the largest customer for Airbus' corporate jet family. Deliveries will begin in 2018.
The ACJ320neo can fly 25 passengers over 6,000 nm/11,100 km or 13 hours (the ACJ319ceo can transport 8 passengers over 6,750 nm/12,500 km or 15 hours).
The ACJneo airplane family offers the increase protection of fly-by-wire controls, Category 3B automatic landing, and runway overrun prevention and onboard airport navigation systems ((ROPS) and (OANS)).

October 2017: "Comlux Signs the 1st BBJ MAX 8 Cabin Completion Ever"

Comlux (CLA) announced that "Comlux Completion" was awarded the cabin outfitting contract of the 1st 737 MAX 8 business jet for an undisclosed customer. The 737 MAX 8 will input into Comlux (CLA) Indianapolis facilities in the 4th quarter 2018, for re-delivery by fall 2019.
"Since 2008, Comlux (CLA) has continuously performed the most customized, engineered and luxurious cabin completions. Almost 10 years later, (CLX) was pleased to be selected by the 1st customer of the BBJ MAX 8 program to complete their future airplane" stated Scott Meyer, (CEO) Comlux (CLA) Completion. "The 1st 737 MAX 8 signature together with the neo cabin contract signed in August are paving the way for establishing Comlux (CLA) as a leader in the (VIP) completion market and for building a bright future for our company and its employees."
June 2018: Featuring the largest cabin in its class, the A320 ACJneo corporate jet is due to be delivered to Acropolis Aviation of the UK in the last quarter, together with a 2nd aircraft, for Comlux (CLA) of Switzerland.
NOTE: COMLUX (CLA) is listed on the latest (EU) blacklist released 03.04.2012 of airlines whose operations are subject to a ban within the (EU)*. *Airlines listed in Annex A could be permitted to exercise traffic rights by using wet-leased airplanes of an air carrier which is not subject to an operating ban, provided that the relevant safety standards are complied with.
