August 2014: Grand Cru Airlines ((ICAO) Code: GCA, based at Vilnius) (CRU) has taken delivery of its 1st 737-4YO (23870, LY-CGC), formerly with USA operator, Sky King ((IATA) Code: 5K, based at Lakeland) (SKN).
Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Aleksandr Celiadin, said that Grand Cru Airlines (CRU) as the Lithuanian wet-lease (ACMI) specialist, intends to supplement its fleet, which also includes two 737-300s, with an additional pair of 737-400s due later next year.
Founded by Valdas Barakauskas, the former (CEO) of the now defunct Lithuanian charter carrier, Aurela ((ICAO) Code: LSK, based at Vilnius), Grand Cru's current operations consist of wet-lease (ACMI) flights for Ellinair ((IATA) Code: EL, based at Thessaloniki, Greece) and 4 You Airlines ((ICAO) Code: AMQ, based at Warsaw Chopin).
