MONGOLIA (STATE OF MONGOLIA) WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1921, IT COVERS AN AREA OF 1,566,500 SQ KM, ITS POPULATION IS 2.4 MILLION, ITS CAPITAL CITY IS ULAANBAATAR, AND ITS OFFICIAL LANGUAGE IS MONGOLIAN.
December 2006: Began operations with a service to Choibalsan.
August 2009: Began first cross-border route to Hailar in China's Inner Mongolia region.
June 2010: Launched international service to Ulan Ude, Russia.
April 2012: During the first quarter, international air traffic to and from Mongolia increased by 30%.
June 2012: 737-7V3 (29360, JU-9921 - - SEE PHOTO - - "EZA-2012-06 - 737-700 DELIVERY"), ex-Copa Airlines (COP), (ILFC) (ILF) leased.
The new airplane will enable nonstop flights from Ulaanbaatar to Beijing, Hong Kong, Seoul, and Tokyo, effectively competing with services offered by the state-owned MIAT-Mongolian Airlines (MNG).
July 2012: Eznis Airways (EZA) is a leading domestic carrier providing scheduled and charter jet airplane services from the Mongolian capital, Ulaanbaatar to destinations across Mongolia. International schedules link Ulaanbaatar with Hailar, China and Ulan-Ude, Russia. Charter flights are offered both domestically and to destinations in China, Kazakhstan, and Russia.

Eznis Airways (EZA) will add an ex-A-net - Air Nippon Network ((IATA) Code" EH, based at Sapporo Chitose New Sapporo International (CTS)) DHC-8-400 (4106) to its fleet later this summer. It currently operates four Saab 340Bs, two ARJ-85s and a 737-700 predominantly on domestic flights but also on international services to Almaty (ALA), Hailar Dongshan (HLD) and Ulan-Ude Mukhino (UUD) airports.
August 2012: 1st Bombardier DHC-8-Q400 (4106) Nordic Aviation Capital leased.
November 2012: Eznis Airways (EZA) has already returned its single 737-7V3 (29360, JU-9921) to the lessor (ILFC) (ILF) again after having just taken delivery of the airplane, mainly deployed on charter flights, back in June. Its two Avro RJ-85s have been put up for sale as well. Besides the Avro RJ-85s, (EZA) also operates a single DHC-8-400 and four Saab 340Bs on domestic flights in Mongolia and regional routes to China and Russia.
May 2013: UM Air (UKM) recently took delivery of its first two ARJ-85s (2257, UR-CLU; 2261, UR-CLV)). The two jets, former Eznis Airways ((IATA) Code: EF, based at Ulaanbaatar) (EZA) machines, have already been ferried from Kiev Borispol to Tehran Imam Khomeini where they will be wet-leased to Mahan Air (MHN). While (MHN) does operate a B Ae 146-200 along with nine B Ae 146-300s, the pair of ARJ-85s are their first of the type.
June 2013: Eznis Airways (EZA) DHC-8-Q402 (4058, JU-9917), ex-(C-GSVY) delivery.
My 2014: Private operator, Eznis Airways ((IATA) Code: EF, based at Ulaanbaatar) (EZA) was forced to indefinitely suspend its own operations in May this year, citing harsh market conditions.
