August 2003: Faces bankruptcy charges initiated by (CSA) Czech Airlines and the Czech state-owned airport authority, Ceska Sprava Letist (CSL), who are claiming debts of CZK 36 Million/$1.24 Million. Fischer Air (FIH)'s travel agency parent, Cestovni Kancelar Fischer, is also in financial difficulties and the Komercni Banka has a court order to seize the assets of owner Vaclav Fischer against debts of CZK 100 Million/$3.4 Million.
Owner Vaclav Fischer had some CZK 400 Million/$13.8 Million of debt with the Komercni Banka taken over by Atlantik Financial Markets, a concern controlled by Czech natural gas and oil baron, Karel Komarek. Following the agreement, Komercni Banka ceased the seizure of company assets and Fischer's personal possessions. Fischer's companies owe an additional CZK 60 Million to the airport authority and (CSA), which is being negotiated.

November 2005: The original Fischer Air suspended operations, however, the Polish sister company, Fischer Air Polska (FIH) continues to operate. Fischer Air has been re-branded as "Charter Air" to avoid confusion with its charter subsidiary, Fischer Air Polska (FIH).
Founder Vaclav Fischer departed both carriers.
December 2005: 757-230 (24747, SP-FVK), ex-Condor (CDF), Guggenheim Aviation Partnets (GUG) leased for Fischer Air Poland (FIH) operations.
January 2006: Fischer Air Poland (FIH) announced it plans to expand its network this year. The airline plans to add new routes to Cuba, Mexico, Sri Lanka and Venezuela.
February 2006: Fischer Air Polska (FIH) has been taken over by Polish tour operator podroze.tv (PTV). It is expected to be re-branded and to add a fourth 757-200 to its fleet later this year.
March 2006: 737-36N (28590), returned, leased to CentralWings (CWG).
April 2006: Fischer Air Polska (FIH) operates charter jet airplane flights out of Poland to the Mediterranean resort areas, together with flights to the Canary Islands, Kenya, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and the Dominican Republic.
