Also operates a direct cargo flight from Istanbul to Tripoli and Benghazi, operated by an Ilyushin IL-76TD freighter (1003405167, 5A-DQA). Also operates freighter service from Dubai to different locations in Africa, particularly Ndjamena, Chad.
December 2008: INCDT: (GAK) DC-10-10 (47832, S9-GAS), blew two tyres during take off from Tripoli's Mitiga airport. The flight crew (FC) declared an emergency and returned to Mitiga for a safe landing. The airplane was carrying 304 pilgrims back from Jeddah to Dakar (Senegal) and had made a scheduled technical stop at Mitiga to refuel.
