April 2004: German Sky Airlines (GHY) was established in 2004 as a tour operator by independent Dusseldorf-based tourism firm the Kayi Group. In addition to unifying the KAYITUR incoming agency and the ADAM & EVE designer hotel, the Kayi Group also unifies the GTI / DTI Travel tour operators and Sky Airlines (SYC).
November 2010: (GHY) began offering seats on its own airplanes to tour operators for the start of the 2010 summer season.
(GHY) launched services with a flight from Cologne to Antalya.
October 2011: German Sky Airlines (GHY) is a start-up airline linking 40 German, Dutch, Austrian, and Swiss cities to Antalya and other leading Turkish holiday destinations, working closely with Turkish Sister company, Sky Airlines (SYC) and other carriers and tour operators.
