February 2015: Havana Air (HAV) has chartered an MD-82 from Insel Air Aruba ((IATA) Code: 8I, based at Aruba) (INS) for use on its Miami International to Camagüey and Santa Clara de Cuba services. MD-82 (49972, P4-MDD) was recently spotted in Curacao sporting the Floridian virtual carrier's titles and logo.
Havana Air (HAV) operates 4x-weekly charter flights between Miami and Havana, as well as to 2x-weekly flights to Camagüey and Santa Clara de Cuba.
August 2017: Havana Air (HAV) is set to charter a 737-800 from Arizona-based (ACMI)/capacity provider Swift Air (SWQ) Skyliner Aviation has reported.
737-800 (32359, N277EA) was recently seen in the virtual carrier's livery ahead of its entry into service.
(HAV) had previously relied on Eastern Air Lines (EAL) for its charter requirements. It is recalled that Swift Air (SWQ) will shortly absorb (EAL).
(HAV) offers regular flights from Key West Int'l, Miami Int'l, and Tampa Int'l in the USA and Havana Int'l, Holguin, Santiago de Cuba, Camagüey, and Santa Clara de Cuba.
