February 2006: Koral Blue (KRL), a new Egyptian airline, 75% owned by the owner of Tunisian, Karthago Airlines (KAG) is planning to launch operations in May. (KRL) is looking to operate flights from Egyptian resorts such as Hurghada and Sharm El Sheik to destinations in Europe. (KRL) could use some of (KAG)'s 737-300s and is looking at possibly leasing a pair of A320s.
April 2007: A320-212 (937, SU-KBA), ex-Lotus Air (LOU), Karthago Airlines (KAG) wet-leased.
December 2010: Koral Blue Airlines (KBL) provides charter jet airplane services to Egyptian resorts: Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada from various European destinations. Part owner, Karthago Airlines (KAG) wet-leases airplanes to (KBL), and also provides technical and commercial support.
