May 2006: Elysair (LVI), a French version of all-business-class carriers Maxjet Airways (MXJ) and Eos (EOS), is expected to take to the skies in October, "La Tribune" reported. The French (DGAC) awarded an air operators certificate (AOC) on February 22. Elysair (LVI) initially intends to launch a Paris Orly - Newark service aboard a single-class (C) 757. If successful, it plans to operate to Los Angeles, Dubai and Sao Paulo.

July 2006: Paris-based proposed transatlantic startup Elysair (LVI) ordered one firm and one option 757-200 Blended Winglet shipsets. Initial installation will take place in November with the second to be installed in early 2007. Elysair (LVI) intends to launch all-business-class (C), 100-seat services between Paris Orly airport (ORY) and Newark Liberty International (EWR).

For 30 years, with a passion for flying, pilot (holder of (FAA) CPL – IFR – ME licenses), Frantz Yvelin is a young manager who was previously responsible for fields of activities with renowned consulting firms such as GFI, CS –Communication & Systems, and Segime (ALTRAN Group).
