February 2015: Air Indus ((IATA) Code: I6, based at Karachi International) (MPK) has leased a pair of 737-800s as it prepares to resume operations following a seven-month hiatus, Pakistan's "Tribune" newspaper has reported.
Grounded in June last year for alleged safety violations, (MPK) has already engaged the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PkCAA) to inspect and certify the two airplanes, which are reportedly in Moscow awaiting delivery.
