July 2007: The 1st of 6 ex-Air France (AFA) 747-200Fs is about to enter service with Italian cargo airline, Ocean Airlines (OCZ). The airplane (see photo) at Hong Kong (HAECO), where it has undergone overhaul and painting ahead of delivery. Ocean Airlines (OCZ) expects to have its 1st 2 ex-Air France (AFA) 747 Classics in service in spring 2008, operating alongside two former Lufthansa Cargo (LUB) 747-200Fs, that have been flying since services started in 2004. The airline serves destinations in Africa and Asia, and is also launching scheduled flights to the USA.
August 2007: Lufthansa (DLH) Systems (LHS) signed a 5-year-contract with Italian cargo carrier Ocean Airlines (OCZ) for its (FMS) database. Ocean (OCZ) already uses the flight planning services of (LHS)'s Lido (OC) solution.
