Bob A former FedEx MD-10 cargo plane converted into the world’s only flying eye care teaching hospital will make its 1st visit to Seattle, USA and be stationed at the Museum of Flight for tours on July 28 to 29 and August 4 to 5. The Flying Eye Hospital is operated by Orbis (ORS), an international non-profit organization that flies the plane to low and middle-income countries to mentor, train and inspire local eye health teams so they can save sight in their communities. (ORS) staff will lead public tours of the airplane from 10 am to 5 pm each day, free with Museum of Flight admission.

Orbis leaders will take part in a discussion and presentation open to Museum of Flight visitors at 2 pm on July 28. The panelists include:

- Bob Ranck, President & (CEO) of Orbis International (ORS).
Bob Ranck graduated from the (USAF) Academy and was commissioned in the US Air Force in 1982. He went on to fly 9 different airplanes throughout his career including the Boeing 707, 737, 757, Gulfstream V, and DC-10.

Bob has run organizations as large as 13,000 people, serving in the field in combat, in the Embassy in Baghdad and on the Air Staff as well as the Joint Staff.
