October 2002: 1 737-800, Mandarin Airlines (MDN) wet-leased to Palau Trans Pacific (PTP), to start operations from Palau to Taiwan, in November 2002 (2x-weekly).
November 2002: Palau Trans Pacific (PTP) plans to extend service to Manila, Seoul, and Hong Kong, once air agreements are signed.
September 2008: Palau Trans Pacific (PTP) is a regional jet airplane carrier linking Palau with key cities in East Asia, using MD-80's and MD-90's wet-leased as required from Far Eastern Air Transport (FAT).

May 2012: Palau Airways (PTP) has launched operations with its 1st route from Koror to Taipei Taoyuan Airport in Taiwan.
October 2012: Palau Airways (PTP), which launched operations in May this year, has launched its second route out of its Koror (ROR) base on the Pacific island associated with the USA. (PTP) now operates 2x-weekly to Hong Kong (HKG) with its 737-4YO (25178, OM-AEX), AirExplore (AXE)/(EXP) wet-leased airplane - - SEE PHOTO - - "PTP-737-4YO - 2012-10."
February 2013: Air Explore ((IATA) Code: ED, based at Bratislava Milan Rastislav Stefánik (BTS)) (AXE)/(EXP) has wet-leased 1 of its 737-400s (25839, OM-CEX) to its Cambodian partner TonléSap Airlines ((IATA) Code: K9, based at Phnom Penh Pochentong International (PNH)) (TSP) as of January 17. It currently already has dry leased its single 737-382 (24365, OM-BEX) to TonléSap (TSP) and operates another 737-400 on a wet-lease contract on behalf of TonléSap (TSP)'s sister carrier Palau Airways ((IATA) Code: P7, based at Koror Babelthuap (ROR)) (PTP). Air Explore (AXE)/(EXP) has just add a 3rd 737-400 (28867, OM-DEX) to its fleet earlier this week that has been retired from Jetairfly ((IATA) Code: TB, based at Brussels National Zaventem (BRU))'s fleet as the last older generation 737-400.
November 2014: Palau Pacific Airways (PTP) (Koror) commenced scheduled passenger operations from Koror to Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok on Tuesday, November 11. Services are on-board a 737-800 (29919, OM-GEX) on wet-lease from Slovak wet-lease (ACMI) specialist, Air Explore ((IATA) Code: ED, based at Bratislava) (AXE)/(EXP). Flights to Taipei Taoyuan, Guam International, and Japan are expected to launch in due course.
