June 1987: Air Vallee (RVL) was esrablished to promote the commercial development of Corrado Gex airport of Aosta (AOT).
June 1988: Twice a week operations to Rome using a Beechcraft King Air with 6 seats.
October 1989. Acquires a Cessna Citation.
January 1992. Buys a LearJet 31.
May 2000: Dornier 328Jet delivery.
April 2001: Aeroporti di Bologna aquired an ownership interest in the company.

November 2001: Starts new route Turin to Pescara, everyday except Saturday.
September 2005: New routes Turin to Genoa and Trieste.
September 2009: Air Vallee (RVL) operates scheduled passenger services linking six destinations on mainland Italy and two on Sardinia. Charter services are also flown.

INCDT: A320-212 (349, LZ-BHC) was involved in a tail-strike on take-off from Verona, Italy on September 1st, resulting in "substantial" damage to the underside of the rear fuselage. It was to be on the ground for at least six weeks.
November 2009: Ceased operations.
January 2012: Air Vallee (RVL) has yet again reinvented itself and has announced a new base in Parma with new routes from there being introduced in cooperation with the airport:
Parma - Bucharest Otopeni: 2x weekly MD-83 service starting on March 25;
Parma - Catania: daily MD-83 service starting on January 14;
Parma - Paris (CDG): daily MD-83 service starting on April 2;
Turin - Iasi: 3x weekly Do 328JET service starting on March 25;
Turin - Pescara: 5x weekly Do 328JET service has resumed on November 21.
It has given up all of its regional routes in France from Angers to Barcelona and Dole, and from Dole to Munich and Nice. It is unclear if it will resume the seasonal summer high season routes from Bologna Marconi, Milan Orio al Serio and Rimini next summer. Its Parma flights are currently operated by an MD-83, wet-leased from Medallion Air. Air Vallée has announced plans to wet-lease ERJ-145s, EMB-170s and EMB-190s from Régional from March to replace the MD-83 on its routes from Parma. Additional routes planned from Parma include Bari, Naples, and Palermo. Air Vallée (RVL) is reportedly also considering setting up a new base at Foggia after Darwin Airline has closed down its base there leaving the airport without scheduled services.
September 2013: Italy’s air navigation services provider (ENAV) has reduced its terminal air navigation charges -25% for the last four months of this year, saving airlines an estimated -€20 million/-$26.4 million.
