A 2nd 757-200 airplane will be acquired before the end of 2003. In October 2003, to the Maldives and Sri Lanka, on behalf of local travel agencies. The airplane will also be made available for operations by government-owned Slovak Airlines (SLV).

December 2005: The Slovakian Privatization Commission announced it will recommend the 66% sale of Bratislava Airport to the TwoOne consortium comprising Vienna Airport, RZB Bank and Slovakian investment company Penta. The deal is worth 368 million/$436.5 million and includes Kosice Airport for 34 million. The government will vote on the deal in January.

October 2006: Air Slovakia (SLO) has been sold to Indian businessman, Harjinder Singh Sidhu for an undisclosed price estimated to be around $30 million. Sidhu is the principal financier behind Golden City Aviation (GLC), a new company based in Vienna. Austrian media reported Golden City (GLC) already has operated its first flight, a Vienna - Cologne service aboard an MD-83 belonging to Austrian charter company (MAP). Sindhu's airline, which will take on an Indian name, and reportedly market itself to Indians, is planning twice-weekly flights from Vienna to Goa, Gochin, Jaipur and Amritsar and eventually to London, Amsterdam and Mumbai. Long-haul flights will be aboard Air Slovakia (SLO)'s two 757-200s. It also has one 737-200.

March 2008: MNG Technic (IST) will perform "C" checks on Air Slovakia (SLO)'s single 737 and 757 as well as UK charter carrier Flightline (FLT)'s only MD-83. Work will begin this month.

December 2008: Air Slovakia (SLO) operates scheduled, passenger, jet airplane flights from Bratislava and charter flights to Greek & Spanish holiday resorts, plus to Varna and Bourgas, in Bulgaria.

November 2009: Air Slovakia (SLO) will wet-lease five airplanes including 2 737-306s (23542, OM-ASD; 23545, OM-ASE) and a 757-28A (24544, OM-ASG) to Albanian Airlines (LBC) for one year and will "assist [Albanian (LBC)] to develop its operational capabilities in its efforts to operate scheduled services and become the leading airline of the region." (SLO) operates 737s and 757s while Albanian (LBC) has B Ae 146s and MD-82s, according to its website.

February 2010: Air Slovakia (SLO) has announced that it is considering launching a new Bratislava - Toronto Pearson route to offer connections between Amritsar and Toronto. It has announced plans to add a second 757-200 and to possibly replace its 737-300 fleet by 737-700s or 737-800s.

March 2010: Air Slovakia (SLO) ceased operations owing to financial troubles and unpaid debts. It is the third Slovakian airline to shut down in the past six months following SkyEurope Airlines (SKP) and Seagle Air (CGL). (SLO) was founded in 1993 and operated two 737 Classics and one 757-200.
