September 2012: Samair (SMZ) is a charter airline based in Bratislava, Slovakia, operating charter flights out of M R Stefanik Airport. It was formerly named Central Charter Airlines. (SMZ) specializes in non-scheduled transport of passengers and goods (a series of charter flights and ad-hoc flights) and wet-lease (ACMI) of airplanes to other airlines. Regular charter flights are mainly carried out for Slovak tour operators, and ad-hoc flights are provided for a variety of domestic and foreign travel agents, foreign brokers and organizations.
