March 2010: ACCDT: An Aviastar (TUP) Tu-204 crashed on approach to Moscow Domodedovo (DME) on the morning of March 22nd. There were no fatalities among the eight crew (FC)/(MT) on the flight from Hurghada, although several were injured seriously. The flight had no passengers, according to reports, which indicated that there was heavy fog at the time of the incident. Aviastar (TUP) is a charter carrier based at Ramenskoye. Russian authorities banned (TUP) from operating passenger flights following the accident, "PRIME-TASS" reported. Aviastar (TUP) continues to operate five Tu-204-100C cargo airplanes.
