February 2006: USA Jet Airlines (USB), a subsidiary of Active Aero Group, today announced the addition of a first-class configured DC-9-30 to its fleet of executive passenger airplanes. The airplane is configured with 74F first-class seats, each with individual entertainment capabilities and other amenities.

USA Jet Airlines (USB) has operated cargo airplanes since 1995 and primarily services the air charter operations of its sister company, Active Aero Charter. In 2003, USA Jet (USB) broadened its scope to include private passenger travel primarily for the executive and group travel clients. The airline is committed to providing the highest level of safety, security and personal service to its clients and prides itself in offering first-class amenities aboard Dassault Falcon 20 and McDonnell Douglas DC-9 passenger airplanes.

July 2008: ACCDT: A USA Jet (USB) DC-9-15F crashed as it tried to land on approach to Saltillo, Mexico, killing the pilot (FC) and injuring the co-pilot (FC). The airplane was carrying 4 tons of car parts it had picked up in Hamilton, Canada, for a General Motors plant in Ramos Arizpe. The (USB) DC-9F was en route to Saltillo from Shreveport, where it had stopped following a flight from Hamilton. Flight Safety Foundation's Aviation Safety Network (ASN) reported that the airplane was "damaged beyond repair." The two pilots (FC) were the only occupants and the survivor reportedly suffered serious injuries. According to the (ASN), the flight was approaching an (SLW) runway, but crashed into an industrial area north of the airport for unknown reasons.

September 2008: USA Jet (USB) is not currently accepting Flight Crew (FC) resumes or interviewing. The carrier has discontinued DA-20 operations. (USB) has 28 pilots (FC) on furlough status.

November 2008: 1st 6 months = 14.52 million (RPK)s traffic (-1.31%); +3.65% (ASK)s; 39.9% LF (-2); 2.85 million (FTK)s freight traffic (-12.88%); 15,000 passengers (+7.14%).
